    Brake pads

    I have a 1992 XJ6 3.2 24V (XJ40) automatic.
I am looking at replacing the front and back brake disc pads. The (worn) present pads fitted have an electrical lead attached that I understand is there so to indicate (at a amber dash light) when they are worn down to the limit. Can anyone advise where/who stocks new replacement disc pads.
    Thank you ...> Alan

excellent, nice to fit new parts

    question
did you check the ' runout ' of the new discs , just to make sure they are sat flat, and no wobble , this is advised by Jaguar to ensure problem free braking

    Morning BB.
    Thank you for the tip.
As it happen, I did not check for "runout" after installation. However, road test so far (understand that I need to do at least 100 miles to run everything in) has not shown any problems.
All the parts came from EBC Brakes.
