Some planned work ahead of the next MOT in February, new performance discs and pads purchased and getting them fitted next Tuesday. Needs replacements all round, upgrades mainly for aesthetics and reduced brake dust.

Also waiting on some LR OEM replacement front mud flaps with factory fitting kit. Essentially a bracket that sits behind lower wing pane!, the ones on there have rotted through and the aftermarket flap on drivers side very loose, not good.

The only other issue I'm aware of is aircon has stopped working, won't be an MOT issue obv, so one for spring time when the weather starts to improve again.

That'll be a pound or two Colin, but she's worth it.

A very nice looking example with lots of life left yet, spoil her a little.

Must be M.O.T time for all, seen lots of posts. Our X type is due end of next month and mine end of December too

    Cheers Colin

Yes, a few pounds for sure Steve, but hopefully means nothing major come MOT time. Indy had said would need brakes done for next one.

Cheers Jim, yes quite fond of the old bus, coming up 6 years in our ownership and certainly lots of miles left. The 4.2 supercharged is a lovely motor.

Lol the problem is, after a time ( and 6 years is a good amount of time ) they almost become part of the family

Makes it really hard to part with them and as they get older with more miles, it becomes heart v head decisions

At least you're a way off from those types of decisions

Discs and pads sorted this week, new caliper on driver side rear was required too. Got a wash today as well

    Rear with new caliper

    Fronts

Pleased with the look and made a big difference to the brakes. Still got the new mudflaps to fit to the front, hopefully get them done this week as off on holiday.

    Cheers
