Can anyone help identify this car please

Hi, this is my dad in the late 50's, early 60's in what I think is a Jaguar. Could anyone give me any information on the car?

It looks a bit like a C Type, XK120-C? In bits.

But the headlamps on the C Type were streamlined.

Here's one, 1968 it says but I think that's possibly wrong:

It's not a perfect match, could be an earlier model or a foreign marque.

    Edit:
It's got a bit of Aston Martin DB3 look too:

Someone will find it I'm sure

Well I was hoping for a comment from this one. I noted he had written 18 posts, one was a nice "Congrats!" The 17 others were just "+1".

    A chap of few words.

    Hello Pepsicola,

there were quite a few special body manufacturers in the fities making bodies for Ford and other chassis. The wheels look like Ford wheeels although the picture is not that clear? EB is one maker I seem to recall?

I'm pretty sure that's a Bedford CB, 10/12 cwt van

    Sorry, couldn't help myself.

I did wonder about an AC but they all seemed to have that characteristic 'Cobra' type radiator grille shape.

2017 XE Portfolio 180PS AWD in Santorini Black with climate pack (I don't scrape!) panoramic roof, privacy glass and 19" style 1015 wheels (that I'd happily swap for a nice set of 18" 5 spokes. Anyone?)
