    Slight oil leak?

Came to my car today. Moved it forward. On the drivers side just behind the front wheel there is a oil leak of some sort.

There is a plastic under cover guard that obscures inspection from underneath and will have to be removed but it is more on the drivers side on the cover when I look through my alloys oil seepage on the under cover guard drivers side.

Any common issues that would cause such a leak on that side. Anything in particular to look for?

    So disappointed

    Any suggestions please....

it could be coming from anywhere, its just running off the undertray in that spot because its probably the lowest point. you'd have to take the undertray off,

common leaking spots are the rocker cover, crank seal, split intercooler hose, and injector seals any of which could run down and collect on the engine tray.
I just saw an Audi driver using his indicators correctly on the motorway. Twice. Should I report the vehicle as stolen?

Also oil filter or drain plug if new sealing washers weren't used at last oil change.

Been under the car! Its a x type 2.2d and Im so confused. On the drivers side I found some oil on the floor as said above. Under the under pan there is a big mud guard I undone the inner arch plastic drivers side. When wiped the oil and smelt the tissue It smells like a egg fart smell the oil does and was yellowish colour not dark or dirty.

Some sort of bottom tensioner was a bit moist but no oil on the bottom of the mud guard? Its not like its leaking only that bit was moist. So weird.

    Any help appreciated.

Might just be an accumulation of spilt fluids whilst being topped up.
You need to spray with degreaser and wash off all the oil you can see then check again in a week or so and see if it's come back.
The cleaner it is, the more chance you have of finding where it's coming from, if at all.

    Thank you for your knowledge!

What do you recon it could be. Is that a bottom tensioner of some sort?

Just had a look at fluids everything apart from screen wash and power steering fluid is low. Power steering is on minimum level.
