    Service records

Hi, would anyone know why although my X150 has always been serviced by Jaguar their website (osh.jaguar.com) does not show it? Anyone else had the same?

I wondered much the same thing myself. I was told by Harwoods Jaguar that the online service records only apply to more recent models such as the F Type, not sure how true that is.

    Cheers,

They switched to this in 2012/2013 I think, my 2010 car doesn't show either but later XK/XKRs do.

The strange thing is that my car (2012) is shown on there when I bought it, but not the subsequent services.

Has it always been serviced at a main dealer? I'm not sure that independent garages have access to add service records to that system. I guess perhaps even main dealers may not use it, either correctly or at all.

Two different main dealers, Hatfield and Brentwood.

Odd that they wouldn't have updated the online history then, given that your car appears to be registered to it. If you give them a ring then they may be happy to add the records now?

Hi 8bit. I do agree and I may give them a ring. I am disappointed if the customer, after having a service, then has to help them get their records correct.

So all Jaguar main dealers are created equal - just that some are more equal than others

I take it you still have the service stamps in the book? If you were to sell the car privately or trade in to an independent then that's probably more important anyway. My wife bought a Mazda MX-5 a number of years ago, a 2006 registered car and that had electronic service records but at that time there was no website available to check them and the local Mazda main dealer weren't very interested in helping. I guess now, with the Jaguar website, then any indie dealer or potential private buyer could check them with the VIN though.

I had my XE serviced at The Jag Specialist at Doncaster - service record was updated online and they also printed a hard copy out when I paid for the extremely well priced service.
Now - 2016 Jaguar XE Prestige 2.0 petrol in Bluefire - Parking Assist Pack, heated screen.
Had - 2008 - 2.2 Auto Sovereign Saloon - Genuine Sovereign Glacier Blue with heated screen, piped seats, Satnav, Premium Sound System, Jaguar Voice, Front and Rear Sensors, Walnut Steering Wheel and dash, Proteus 18" Wheels plus the dreaded DPF!!!!
    2003 2.5L SE - Ultraviolet.
