Hey all, new to the forum and (hopefully) to Jag ownership. I've always been a big fan of the old XK styling and today was presented with the opportunity to buy one.

It's a 1952 XK120 OTS, all original (except it was repainted from the original cream color), single owner and running. My question (as you probably guessed from the thread title) is about the windscreen. I've never seen an XK120 with this style of split windscreen. Can someone tell me about this? Does it indicate anything special about the car or is it just a rare option?

I'm really hoping to get this for a good price and restore it, so any help is greatly appreciated.
