First owner's choice of trim level

Recently I've been wondering what the trim level and options added to my car at purchase say about the owner.

Mine specified heated windscreen and heated seats so clearly didn't like winter mornings. Premium stereo system so liked their music, however didn't specify a rear CD changer so the single CD player was enough for them. Chose the Estate version so had need to carry a lot, ordered the Jaguar roof bars so needed to carry more than would fit in an estate and then had a towbar fitted for even more moving of weight. Went for full leather trim, easier to clean? longer wearing? or are the heated seats always full leather? Didn't go for options like cruise control so maybe not many long distance motorway runs. No Sat Nav so didn't often go to unknown destination or believed a map was a better option. No phone fitted so didn't feel a need to be in constant contact while on the road.

So far I have someone who lives in a cold part of England, travels short distances with a heavy loads while enjoying a limited CD collection at high quality without their music being disturbed by phone calls.

For secondhand buyers what was your first owner like?

18 months was a long time for a fleet car (usually only kept for around 6 months) so yours may have been a development vehicle assigned to one of the departments for testing new bits on.

The first owner of my car didn't care much for fancy things.

The first owner of my car was a pragmatic individual who was happy to throw their cigarette stubs out the window.

That person didn't want to accommodate multiple memory seating positions, no one else is going to drive it anyhow.

The first owner of my car was very cool and had the cool black paint to match their darkened soul.

Registered in Yorkshire as it happens.

EdToo, I reckon yours was owned by a 50 year old swinging couple. Towing for a caravan to go to the swingers camping get togethers, estate for dogging in the back, heated seats for winter outdoors fun, and wipe clean seats
