Similar figures to above but was most impressed with the 36mpg towing my Triumph GT6 on a car trailer from Wiltshire to Northern Scotland.

Coincidently, I recently got exactly the same mpg for the same journey in my XE with our classic Mini on the same trailer.
2017 XE Portfolio 180PS AWD in Santorini Black with climate pack (I don't scrape!) panoramic roof, privacy glass and 19" style 1015 wheels (that I'd happily swap for a nice set of 18" 5 spokes. Anyone?)

Most of the time I'm averaging 46-48 mpg, I did hit 60mpg once, but that was following my sons Hillman Imp to the National last year. From South Norfolk to Preston Lancashire and back at 55mph, boring as hell.
    2007 x type 2.2d S 6 speed, 150,000 and climbing.
    And no warning lights

Interesting results guys. A little disappointing but I guess it's not the most aero of cars either!
