    S Type 2.7 Diesel Battery

Hi all, anyone recommend a good battery for 2007 S-type 2.7D, Ive had a couple of bosch batteries, good to start with but after about 3 months lazy to start and a few electrical errors due to low voltage, fit new battery then good again for a few month, alternator & wiring all in good order.

    Thanks

    Chris.

    Look on www.tayna.co.uk.
    Exide, Varta, or Yuasa.

They do next day delivery to your door.

This'll do nicely (I've got one fitted on my car) but the Exide and Varta brands with the near same capacity will do equally well.

AND, if you only do short journeys (like wot I do) you need one of these.....https://www.amazon.co.uk/CTEK-MXS-5-...c=1&th=1&psc=1

My battery get's the CTEK overnight every 2 weeks in winter, every 4 weeks in summer.

The 2.7 S type DEMANDS a good battery and one that's in top class condition, if the battery is a bit 'off' all sorts of dire messages get displayed.

Agree with Victor re Tayna. Good range of stock, fair prices and very good service.

I went for the Varta Silver variant on mine last year. Been a very good battery to date.

Thanks Guys, just got myself a Yuasa ybx5020 from Dingbro, 110 amp/hour 950 Cold Cranking Amps, seems to be doing the trick, no more low voltage related faults.
