    Valve timing gauge

    Looking for someone who could provide a photo of the valve timing gauge with a ruler in the frame.

    Hello Jim,

    it is a very simple gauge, the curved cutout is equal to the cam diameter and the tab that fits into the slot in the cam gives the tab width.

    I'll take a picture of mine later but you can make one just measuring the cam itself if that is your idea? It just locates the slot in the cam at 12 o'clock for correct timing.
