    Headlong - Champagne

Need bit of advice if possible. I have a 2005 Sovereign with a sagging headlining. My trimmer is having difficulty sourcing the right colour which is Champagne. Sample he has from one of his suppliers was Champagne but it is lighter than mine. Does anyone know of any possible sources if similar problem encountered.
    any comments appreciated.

    Headlining

Thanks for response, was hoping for a more positive one😂 What colour is your car? I have thought about changing colour as near matches look worse. Not sure of black though in mine, mine is Jaguar Racing Green.

My car is Radiance Red, i have seen this company on the internet that does the whole job, https://www.myrtleltd.com/product/ja...-with-sunroof/

I have wrestled with the colour change look, what with the light visors and handles.

    Headlining

Ive just come across a company called Segal Motor Trimmers in Salford. They have Jaguar Champagne listed, will try and get a sample.

My 2008 SV8 has Barley/Mocha as the interior colours. I did read somewhere that Champagne was renamed Barley at some point. Might be worth finding a sample to compare.

Pete, thanks will look into that. I have a sample of the Champagne coming so if that's no good will seek out some Barley.

I have been out this morning cleaning and i looked at my headliner, i have a sunroof and last year the champagne material on the sun shade part was changed by the previous owner at Lancaster Jaguar and is a noticeable shade different, i have took a picture and will post it later. I am using a certain amount filling in the blanks but i feel the shade of the 17 year old headliner has changed over the ensuing years and even the same wont match.

Yes I realise an exact match will be impossible on a 15year old car but previous sample was not the right shade/palate. The one I have received today is quite a close match and won't be noticeable in my opinion. Didn't want to change colour completely or retrim everything due to cost. Once done I will post some before and after photos.
