Forum adjustments for Mobile App users

I use the mobile app all the time and never use the full version.

    2 things moderator:

    1. I can not upload pictures using the app as in IMG it does not show this option on the app version like it does on the full website version

    2. The app version does not have the option to hit the ‘like’ button for another persons post

Having run forums in the past using the same software (vBulletin) a lot of these points you mention are features that they would implement, from memory with vB 4 (the version that the site runs) was the first version that had the mobile theme.

The like "likes / thanks / dislike" is a plugin option to the main software and would need to be again edited to work on the mobile theme.

There is a vB version 5, but i seem to remember that was another license cost, and also the major upgrades mean a lot of work / testing to try and make sure you keep the same features that your forum users are used too.

    HI,

Unfortunately we will not be updating to version 5 of the app / forum, for mobile i recommend viewing it in a browser if you are on a mobile device.

We just get so much spam, its not easy to prevent this on new versions.
