    Cool Front Shocks Compatibility

    Hi everyone,

I have been given a pair of unused Sachs Shock absorbers but unsure if they are indeed compatible with my 2.0d standard suspension car (2005). I seem to be seeing conflicting reports. The Sachs code is 311 543 and the corresponding Jag codes are as follows:

    JAGUAR:1X43-18045-AG, JAGUAR:1X43-18045-AH, JAGUAR:6X43-18045-AB, JAGUAR:C2C 20556, JAGUAR:C2C 29541, JAGUAR:C2S 15024, JAGUAR:C2S 20557, JAGUAR:C2S 2387, JAGUAR:VN7-C807

In the above there appear to be both comfort and sport versions. Just cant seem to get a straight answer.

Also I have a link here to onlinecarparts. I put my reg in and the same model came up:
    https://www.onlinecarparts.co.uk/sachs-781661.html

Can someone confirm if Sachs 311 543 will go on standard suspension?

    Thanks in advance

According to the Sachs webcat.zf.com they are for a standard 4wd estate model. (If my German is up to scratch).

    It appears to be:
311 541 front wheel drive. Standard
311 542 front wheel drive. Sport
    311 553 4 Wheel drive. Standard
    311 544 4 Wheel drive. Sport
There appears to be no distinction between saloon and estate.

Thank you Thunderace7 for finding this. Looks like I can't use on front wheel drive. Never mind, will get the Bilsteins.
