    Heated Seat Retrofit?

    Hi everyone - does anyone have any experience of retrofitting heated seat pads? There are various firms offering fitting services - can the OEM switches be used to keep everything looking standard?

    I retrofitted heated seats
    Described in this thread on another Forum;
    https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-seats-227411/

    I'm pretty sure that you can't use the existing switches as the factory seats are switched via the computer network and the seat module, the switches don't actually switch the power to the heater elements.

    The heating seat's Button use a PWM signal to switch the power. See the thread about heating steering wheel X350 where i describe it. I can post the functioning system in a fortnight if desired. The actual version only offer an OFF/ON version for the heated steering wheel. You'll need to wire a board and connect it to the front module with a relay for the power to the heating pad.

    That would be great if you could send me or post the details! I'm quite happy to rig a relay etc to use the signal from the switches/controller.

    I think you might also have to do some module programming to get this to work

    Non need to reprogramme the front Electronic module. This board read directly the output or the switch.
