Question XK150 gearbox change from auto to manual

    Hi all,
I am new here, so my first post.
I have a 1957 Jaguar XK150 automatic (LHD) and am considering altering it to manual gearbox. A couple of questions
1.Is the XK 150 gearbox and bellhousing the same as that used on the Mk2?
    2. Are the manual pedal boxes on the XK150 and Mk2 the same?

    Thanks
    Mike

Bellhousing, I am not sure, but I think it should work, as the XK150 has a hydrollic clutch.
But there is no pedal box on a XK150.
Both pedals ar mounted to the Chassis, so on the bottom of the car.
Have seen the below kit that could help you, it bolds to the side of the chassis beam.
