It's a variation on a road going D Type,with an XK150 grille/bonnet!
2000 S Type manual(now sold and replaced with a Transit Connect!) BMW E30 cabbie in the very rare neon green colour and a Nissan Micra for 'er indoors!

In fact, the car is actually an XK120C type ( or C Type for short ) I can't tell if it is a genuine one or a recreation but it is a 1953 model with the bonnet scoop to feed the 3 twin choke Webbers with which that years cars we fitted.

Just imagine how much it could be worth if it turned out to be one of the 53 original ones. Old cars do turn up in the "New World" where they have been forgotten. I would give it a home if I had the room.

This is a C type.
I just purchased a C type recreation about one month ago
I live in the USA but born in Buenos Aires, still have friends there.
I have a lot of cars, but I must say I love the C type
It requires some work but I love the sound, the light weight,
the looks, the engine 6 inline with Weber carburators, all is great.
Even my wife loves it, despite the fact she burned its leg on the exhaust
This is a right hand drive car so she climbed in the car on the exhaust side

I must admit, I had forgotten about this poor, sad car. It is indeed a replica and, may I say, in my honest opinion, not a very good one however, if it gives the owner pleasure then who are we to say anything against it.

The first thing I thought when I saw the picture was 'That's a fibreglass bonnet'!
