Which market is the target vehicle as that will determine the frequency needed? The ones you've listed are all over the place.

If you PM me with the full VIN of the target car I will check which one you need.

    Thanks for your PM.

Your vehicle is for the USA market
    V64***

It uses the newer style keyfobs. One of these:
    T2R6898 315Mhz
    T2R6899 433Mhz

I believe US spec vehicles should be 315Mhz. I am not 100% certain of the frequency used - I am basing that on Internet searches only.

Some other fobs will be compatible. As a rule of thumb only:
CW93-15K601-A# onwards are the newer style 315Mhz
CW93-15K601-B# onwards are the newer style 433Mhz

CW93 (2012) ones will have a polished back cover with a Jaguar leaper and text decal. Plain silver side.
EW93 (2014) ones will have a TPU (rubberised) plain back cover. Jaguar embosed silver side.
FW93 (2015) ones I believe switched from TPU to textured plastic to prevent wear.

Given the build date of your vehicle I suspect CW93-15K601-AB is the engineering number for your as-built key fobs, which should be T2R6898. C2D40306 should be compatible too but may have a different side.

T2R6898 is available new from the UK for £81.50 + shipping (David Manners, ex VAT for export to USA). Many are on eBay for more than retail price (sear the WERS number) - eBay is generally a ripoff for key fobs. I can recommend that supplier, they are an authorised parts distributor, and if you send them your VIN they will double check the part number with Jaguar for you.

Note new fobs are supplied less the keyblade.

With reference to your original message:
C2D18231 is for V06202-V39426 315Mhz old style fob (looks like a pocket mirror)
C2D22340 is for V22230-V41698 433Mhz old style fob
C2D48479 is for V91603-V97399 315Mhz new style (shared with the XF and XE).

The latter may be compatible - the VINs put that as a 2016 MY (likely FW93-15K601-XX).

Awesome thanks! I ordered part # C2D48479 from a local supplier for @ $250 shipped (~£203). I was unaware they did not include the emergency key. I already bought a used Jag key (of that type) on eBay for $50 and a blank key for $6. I just wanted a factory new fob as my locksmith charges $85 to program however many keys you have and says used keys work about 50% of the time (Apparently they VIN lock). Best case, I get 3 keys but if that eBay key won't reprogram, then 2. The car only came with one.

No clue why Jaguar won't let you program these yourself.

Please do let us know if that part number works, and if you could confirm the WERS number (#W93-15K601-B#) that would also be helpful to people using eBay to buy fobs.

Will do - I got the key in today actually and will try to get it programmed by the end of the week. What is the WERS #? Will that be on the packaging (keyfob is new from a dealer)?

If you have bought an official key it should come in a grip seal bag with a label attached. Under the top barcode will be text in the format of #W93-15K601-## where '#' is a letter, and yours should end with 'A#' for 315Mhz. Please share that full number so we can directly map the part code C2D48479 to the engineering code.

If the bag was not included then slide off the metal cover (push it away from the hazard button) and the number will be printed in tiny letters on the side of the key blade retaining clip, or on a small label.

Here is the key - it does have those numbers. EW93-15K601-AE (315Mhz). The Part # I purchased was C2D48479 however it has been superceded by part # C2D51454

I will also confirm it does NOT include the emergency key.

I just got back from the Jaguar dealer. Both keys programmed with no issues. $165. So now I have 3 keys. One ebay key and 1 new key. He said no issues with any of them. He said the emergency key is not included since you typically order that from the parts department using the VIN and it comes already cut. So I will do that at some point.

I've lost a keyfob for a 2017 XF (USA) and am looking for a replacement at less than dealer charges. FCC ID is K0BJTF10A. Other # is EW93 15K601 AE. I find lots of listings on Ebay with the same FCC ID, but most are EW93 15K601 AD (or AA or AB). I have found a few listings with the AE suffix, but all are out of stock. I'm concerned that if I buy one with a lower level suffix I may have compatibility issues. Is that a valid concern, or could I get an EW93 15K601 AD and be assured that the dealer could program it to work on my car?
