    Hi all, apart from K&N which I've tried and trashed, what brand of air filter do folk recommend? There's a few out there and want the best available but not the aforementioned K&N. Used them in the past and the 1 or 2 hp increase was cosmic! Plus the fact that the oil can screw up the MAF...

    I have just bought a 2000 XJ8 4.0 with 82,000 on the clock. Its having a service at the moment - is there any point in changing the standard air filter with a K&N filter? Many Thanks
