I bought myself a 2005 X type 2.0 Diesel in November of last year, for the first 1200 miles it was driving lovely, very smooth, all be it with far less fuel efficiency than would be expected...
Does anybody know what part of the injector needs to be replaced in order to get them to pass a leak off test.
I thought it was the control valve but I replaced one before and re took the leak off test with the same results
I've had lots of minimal irritating symptoms coming and going with my 2.2D car.
Stiff 1st to 2nd change
Clutch all over the place
Kangaroo at low revs going up or down
Juddery pulling away
Not neat as in clever, but as in not diluted.
Yeah. Is the injector cleaner used by Terrorclean the same stuff as the stuff in the purple bottles in Halphords?
I've been experiencing the flashing glow plug and limp mode a few times recently. Mostly happens on the restart during lunch break...

Came home from the airport after holiday with no issues, although there was possibly a random flat spot.
Next morning I could happily spin the engine over, in fact I could probably have driven to work on the starter motor, but she wouldn't fire...
Tooling required for injector recoding on a X Type 2.0D Yr2006.
Can this be accomplished by using the Mongoose OBD adaptor or will I need aVCM rotunda module. Using the JLR software.
I am looking into replacing/overhauling a noisy injector.
