Over past few months have had some issues around starting the car. Seems to fail starting sometimes when turning the key ignition. Any pointers around why it fails to start sometimes? Is it Glow Plugs? Batt Fault or Alternator? Starter Motor was changed around 3 years ago.

I have a '56 plate SE with about 80k on the clock - we've had it from about 4 months old as a ex-Jag demo car. A good while ago it would occasionally have a warm start problem - starting but sitting at about 400 to 500 rpm and ignoring the throttle. A restart worked fine and all was OK again...
