Was looking to purchase a Stoplock brand steering wheel lock, but according to their fitment guide, none of the models they offer fit the X-Type's wheel.... Can anyone suggest a lock that DOES fit our vehicle? TIA.

I want to replace the piano black trim in my my2008 XKR by walnut, the panels are easy to replace, but does anybody know about the wheel? On the leather steering wheel there are 3 piano black strips, can one pry those loose?

So finally bought a 2003 3.0L S-type and generally speaking it'a a lovely car. Got a few scratches here and there and some missing paint but nothing you would be surprised about on a 15 year old car with 105K on the clock. I did notice a small ding in the rear bumper which I had not seen before...

Hello, I will collect my X358 on Wednesday and I am about to buy a Disklok but I don't know the size of the steering wheel (Disklok comes in three sizes : small - medium - large). What is the diameter of the steering wheel? :confused:

The controls on the steering wheel only seem to be illuminated on the right hand side not on the left. Is this normal?

Just wondering if you can change the badge on the centre of the steering wheel? Mines a bit scratched and now I've noticed it I really want to change it. I guess it may just be stuck on but don't really want to start digging at it given the air bag is somewhere near it.

I would like to replace my tatty x type 2.0d 2003 wheel as the previous owner has scratched it with jewellery or something. Is it possible to replace it with a later S type wheel? Many thanks. Peter

New member stupid question time. I was wondering if the fitment and airbag connections are the same to fit the later S-Type Steering Wheel :- to my X Type which currently has this steering wheel : - The multi-function buttons look the same.
