Jaguar XJ6 wins Best Luxury Car at the What Car? Car of the Year Awards 2005

Browns Lane, January 21, 2005 - The Jaguar XJ6 has picked up the award for 'Best Luxury Car' for the second year running at the prestigious What Car? Car of the Year Awards held last night in London.

A panel of judges from What Car? magazine voted the XJ6 as the best in its class because of its looks, driving dynamics, quality, ample performance and impeccable refinement.

David Motton, editor of What Car? magazine, commented: "The Jaguar XJ6 does everything a luxury car should, it's a modern twist on a classic theme and there's substance to back up the style. Excellent body control and a lightweight aluminium construction make the XJ more agile than any of its rivals. There's all the luxury equipment you'd expect, the fit and attention to detail are immaculate and the drive is everything you would expect of Jaguar's flagship saloon."

Bibiana Boerio, Managing Director of Jaguar Cars, said: "We are delighted with the reaction the aluminium XJ continues to receive from both the media and our customers. The XJ had a tremendous year in the UK, where it accounts for 1 of every 3 cars sold in its segment. We're looking forward to building on this strength with the introduction of the new 2.7 diesel XJ later this year."

Am looking myself for a garage of 5.50x3 (metres) at least, that will come with a house
is 5.5 mts long enough for the the swb?, if so my garage will be long enough,
The swb is nearly 5.1 mts long, so 5.5 will be fine at the very worst.
My ideal garage is 8 mts long and 5 mts wide, so that I can accommodate two cars :)

 What you can do is: Test drive one XJ and whilst doing it take the car (and the sales man...) and try to park the car in your garage. You have the right to do it :!:

I did that as I've got my bikes at the back of the garage! Did ask the salesman beforehand and was more than happy for me to do that and have the car for the afternoon. Even said if the car needed petrol to bring the receipt back for reimbursing. Excellent customer service.
