Evening,

I have a 54 plate non PDF 2.7Diesel se stype.

I have seen some conflicting comments about MPG figures being improved by driving in sport mode, I just wondered what other people's experience is.

Around town yes. on a run no. around town it holds the gears in the green zone for better economy. but on a run no. it changes up later in the rev range so uses more fuel but a more spirited performance.

Thanks very much. I ve had the car weeks 2 weeks and absolutely love it. I traded in a ford focus 2.0 tdci for my s type and this is just a completely different league.

Have a look at my post re recent mpg. mine is a 2.7 with a martin rowe remap. that should give you an idea.
