Hi All,

Can anyone point me to the value for the cooling system capacity (3.0 V6 engine).

I would like to order the antifreeze but I just cannot find where I put the info .

Many thanks in advance,
Neil

Thanks very much 12RM.

I'm at work so don't have all my sources at hand.

Were the manuals online somewhere?

Thanks again,
Neil.

I've sold my car but have a downloaded copy here on my laptop at home, think I downloaded it at work so I'll maybe have it there as well.
Last time I looked the older model handbooks were not on line, only the newer ones.

Sold a 2002 XJ driver's handbook (came with my S Type) on eBay the other day, how much are they new as it sold for more than I expected?

Just followed the link at the top of the page. I did not see it before  . There are manuals listed at least for every model year. Each chapter is a seperate pdf file.

Mine is a MY2001 car so your info was spot on :) .

A set of S-Type manuals from a UK dealer was 10 Pounds 8 years ago. I fancied having a copy in English so I bought a set. No idea what they are now.

That's good that the older ones are back on line. I had to email a copy to someone recently.

ÂŁ10 for a set of handbooks, that's OK even 8 years ago. I best not say what I got for just the driver's handbook, I assume that they must be dearer now as it was garage that bought it.

That is the wonder of Ebay. I'm too lazy to sell stuff but I'm constantly surprised at what people pay for stuff, often in poor condition, when the same money would have even bought a new specimen. I expect these people have their reasons, but I'm not always sure. My target is between 33 and 50% of new price/worth if in excellent condition, depending on absolute value, otherwise a lot less, if I still want it.

But if you get a good return, that is great :)
