I just purchased a 1999 Jaguar XK8. The previous owner had taken the car into Jaguar and had some work done to it as well as a full diagnostic. On the dash I get the message that the Traction Control failed as well as the stabalizer control.
I found that the traction switch on the dash is broken and not making a full connection. Jaguar states that the car needs a new ABS Module, but makes no mention of the switch at all.
My question is, if the switch is broken could that be the reason that my ABS module is failing? Any help on this would be appreciated.
