Another EGR question

Hoping someone can help...

Engine Mgt light has been on for a while, code says EGR is u/s, so I eventually got around to buying a new one. After much research & assurances from the main dealer on which part I need, and all evidence pointing to a non-DPF electronic/motorised valve, it turns out that I have the 'old' style vacuum driven EGR on my car (05/55 2.2D SE Estate), instead of what the parts list says - even by reference to the VIN number - which is the electronic / motor driven valve.

Any ideas why this might be? And should I be concerned?

Any comments / advice gratefully received...
