Engine air filter bewilderment

I just boaght a 2015 XJL 3.0 AWD. I always change the air filter after purchasing a used car so as usual I bought a K&N and opened the hood and huh??? Are there two engine air filters on this car? One far left and one far right? The air filter boxes look like they are screwed shut with security screws (the star screwes). Is there any way to replace the air filters in your driveway or has Jaguar effectively caused me to hire them to do it? Thanks!

I expect you will just need the correct bit (a torx or xzn I guess). These are not really security screws - just commonly used fittings that have a more positive drive and do not round off so easily with use.

Many Jaguars (the S/C models?) do have two air filters so it sound likely. Someone with knowledge of your model will surely confirm soon :)
Petrol or diesel?

Diesel is fairly simple - release 2 plastic lugs, undo m10 bolt between them, top lifts *just* enough to slide filter out.
I figured it out. The boxes are screwed shut with T20 torx. There are in fact two air filters. With the correct torx bit, the air filters are very simple to remove and replace.
