But one car is missing?
Don't be daft... :)

When zoomed out, they are just too close together... if you zoom in on the interactive map on the website you'll see them tucked in together... Ashanti and FlatCap

..just booked my room on the 18th (y)

Hopefully the car will be sitting level again after some attention booked for Doncasteer on 31 Jan.
And co-incidentally, will be on my way from Northumberland where we hope to have a star gazing/photography experience on the 17th
Some amazing skies here recently - I took this picture of the Orion constellation with my mobile phone. Squint and you'll see it :)

Boarding Passes

It's time to book your tickets for the National Space Centre. Advance booking is slightly cheaper than "on the day" and guarantees your seat in your chosen Planetarium show.

When booking tickets, you will be asked to select a time for your Planetarium visit.

The "Tour of the Night Sky" looks like a good one, with a showing at 2.30pm. As these last for approximately 25 minutes, this also fits in with @Jades need to race back home in time for Sunday Chicken. I'm assuming that's dinner and not some kind of life-or-death game.

Of course, if there's a different show you'd rather see in the Planetarium, then please feel free to choose accordingly. I'll be "touring the Night Sky" at 2.30pm. :)

It would be marvellous if you can let me know when tickets have been booked :)

SUNDAY 19th FEBRUARY

Tour of the Night Sky

Using our immersive Planetarium, sit back and relax as we journey together through the wonders of the Universe. Your presenter will guide you around our night time sky and together you will look at the stars, visit planets and explore the mysteries of Space, in your own unique adventure. Vote for some of your favourite stops along the way, in this exciting and audience driven journey.

Just a quick heads-up to anyone who is planning on staying over on the Saturday night ahead of the Space Centre visit on the Sunday, and has yet to book accommodation...

The Premier Inn Leicester (Braunstone) rates are increasing. When I booked a few days ago I paid £50, just checked now and it's quoting £66.50 for the night.

Bought my ticket for Sunday the 19th of February, as predicted by @MarkFY I too have gone for the 2:30 showing of Tour of The Night Sky. Gift Aided the ticket, the confirmation email gives info on how the conversion to an Annual Pass is done. I will almost certainly be revisiting within the year.

With regard to Sunday Chicken it may turn out to be beef or pork. My family normally have our main meal on Sunday at Lunchtime but Mam and Dad have kindly agreed to reschedule the meal to be Dinner at some time after 6pm so I don't miss out.
