After sorting the rear ones out by fitting a new inner n/s sensor the front system seems to be playing up. Intermittent fault shows as a continuous park aid beep fault noise when engaging forward or reverse, beep stops when going forwards after reaching 5 mph or thereabouts. When the fault occurs the reverse aid does not work. Most annoying to say the least.
Unpredictable part of it is that sometimes when test touching the front sensors the inners sometimes they do not tick sometimes they do. Front outers and all rears tick all the time.
Is there a known inner wiring loom corrosion problem maybe or am I just unlucky in having potentially two front sensors go down with intermittent faults that will need replacement at £55 a go?
