Hi All.

I am an X358 & X351 owner but a friend asked me for help today with his fuel filler neck.

He was carrying a large container in his boot and had to brake harshly when turning. The container slid and banged the inside of the boot and when he went to fill the car he noticed that the feller neck was blocked by a metal plate.

I used the tool on my own car when I stupidly tried to fill with petrol and a flap with a hole in the centre stopped came across the neck. The hole allowed the insertion of the reset tool but on this XE the flap is solid so the tool cannot be inserted..

Has anyone came across this one before and what was the fix? I plugged my SDD in but his car was not supported.

TIA.

It sounds like you may have this problem.

Exactly the problem. Will probably need SDD but my version does not have his car details. Perhaps a hard Reset might do the job. I would try if it was my own car but not on someones elses.
