I got mine off ebay, but make sure you get the proper zf stuff
Hi Nancy, the kits can be bought from TheJagspecialist / Bristol Transmissions and various othersHello , I'm back. After sorting some of the issues with the car including door lock which now works wonderfully, start stop, boot opening by itself cambelt , filters etc I want to do the gearbox service. Has anyone done this process lately? I'm interested in buying the kit as a friend will do it for me . Where's the best place to buy the kit ebay or ? 2.2d xf 8speed.

What Phil says ^^^^Hi, if you fill your location in someone might be able to recommend a good service centre close to you. Phil
Good luck on your search...Hi all and thanks for the comments , unfortunately all of those places are like a 4 hour drive one way . Otherwise I would've done it. I'll keep looking thanks.
+1 for The Jag Specialist.Just booked mine in for its 2nd gearbox service in my ownership.
Kits are available for circa £300 on ebay, but
For £348 inc at the Jag Specialist in Doncaster, you get it done by those who've done hundreds, full mashings on the ZF kit, adaptations reset, codes read and deleted, etc.
No brainer,
And I don't get mi hands dirty, instead I get to go for a Full E at the local greasy spoon.
People said look on Ebay.Im looking for the kit too, but i can't find any on autodoc unless i do it separately.

Same car XF 2011/2012 2.2D 190hp , 8 Speed.
Having troubles finding the correct part for the filter.
It'll be stamped on the gearbox, but I think you'll find it's an 8hp70.Is there a way to find the correct 8 speed gearbox model ?
