Hello everyone,
I'm currently driving a 2011 Lincoln MKS Ecoboost but I'm starting my research early for it's replacement. So, I'll be lurking for a while gathering information as I ponder the possibility of an XF in the future.

Hi John, welcome to the forum. Hope you find enough information to assist you in your quest. The problem is that there are many thousands of faultless Jaguars out there that we, on the forum, do not know about so it will be wrong to assume a mark to be bad due to the small amount of problems that we do know about. All manufacturers suffer with good and bad marks so it is down to the customer to decide. Good hunting.

Roger,
Thanx for the reply. Before my MKS, I owned an '04 Lincoln LS, and like many cars, it had it's faults and it's great attributes. As someone on that forum told me a long time ago, most threads or discussions on forums are because of problems. Not too many praises when things are good. So, I'll do my research and see what happens.

Thanx again,
John
Just to let you know, in case you didn't, the S Type is built on a Lincoln chassis Haha.

A friend of mine worked at a local Ford Lincoln dealership when they first came out. I think that's part of the reason I wanted one. It did run really well and handled great. Just expensive. The MKS is totally different.

Hi Beachycove,
.
Welcome to the website and forum.
I have owned my 04 X350 since last November and it's brilliant.
.
Everyone here is friendly and helpful and some of the usernames here ( like TeapotTony and PigletJohn ) make me smile.
