Yes, welcome along to the forum. Was good to meet you at Gaydon the other day, and sounds like it's highly likely our paths will cross at one or two more Jaguar oriented gatherings

Welcome to the Forum! I'm from Durham and have only been going to the JEC North East meetings since the back end of last year so haven't been through a full season's activities yet.I’m in South Tyneside. Are there any regular meets up here? I’m off to the JEC meet at Heworth golf club at the end of the month.
Hello mate.Welcome to the Forum! I'm from Durham and have only been going to the JEC North East meetings since the back end of last year so haven't been through a full season's activities yet.
David Wood is the main contact for the region and his details are listed in the regions section of Jaguar Enthusiast. He recently sent out a draft list of possible events for the Club to attend, starting in April, and there seems to be quite a bit there already. The main event for the region is North East Day at Durham Regatta, on the 11th of June. I have already booked a place for my X-Type.
Hello there NewcyBlue and welcome, great to have you join us.Better introduce myself since I’ve been added to the Jaguars at the castle meet in August.
We have an X250 XFS and an X100 XK8, I’m in the North East.
@Sailor is a colleague, mentor, and friend. He certainly gave me much encouragement when buying the XK8!
Yes, I plan on going, all being well.Hello mate.
Are you going to the JEC meeting at the end of this month? I’ll be there. I go back to sea in April so won’t be around for a few months.
Yeah I’ve been by the golf club a number of times, we used to walk dogs at the shelter nearby.Yes, I plan on going, all being well.
Navigation tip: if you use Navmii on your phone for navigation its waypoint for the Golf Club is actually right in the middle of the course! On my first visit it was pitch black and I went right past the entrance and all the way along the road running next to the course. Had to pull up in a pub car park to work out where I went wrong! There is a marker for the car park that'll get you where you need to go, roughly where the P is on Open Street Map..
