So, the X-Type headlights are pretty rubbish then?

Reckon HID could be the way to go, but I fear I’ll make a mess of the job if I try to do it myself. Are there any HID suppliers who can install, or someone who can install in the Southampton area?

Here in the US, only Specialty Shops are willing to do HID/LED/DRL installations. Besides, your better off going to one because it will be less expensive ($50 average here).

If you can fit a standard bulb then you can fit HID. The only difference is that you have to drill the cover and to stop knuckle bashing remove the bumper. They are Plug and Play.
