Sorry for a silly question
i can not determine the correct location for the jack in my 95 XJS convertible 2+2
the jack is in a bag and for now just in the boot.
I would like to secure it in it’s proper place.
The CD player blocks the left and the right side is equally blocked

I don't know about the facelift model but in my 1989 XJS I have the bag wedged in one of the side pockets in the boot (trunk).

On the 95 the left side (LH steering) is a CD changer with bracket below with no room for the jack. The right side is boxed in with battery, Conv. top controls, and other trim pieces. There is a bracket in the left side on the back side of the wheel arch with two studs but I can see no function for this and the jack does not seem to fit there either. I may be resigned to having it in the boot loose; it does have a bag made from carpet though.
