SDD 165 can be downloaded straight from JLR. The v164 patch (#1 and #2) still work.

Yes It does work and I now have V165 thanks to this fine forum!
Good to know the V164 patch works but I am only aware of one patch and JoshMcMadMac mentions two?

Update: despite network connection work, passes all tests, it will not run recommendations due to connectivity to topix or others. so it is useless right now.

For those who have hyper v which is built into windows 11, mongoose shows usb device as being inuse and can never connect over remote desktop (remotefx). But you can use virtualhere for free and simple to install to share the usb mongoose usb device from your host.

Does your SDD work? My network tests are ok, all calibration files are downloaded, 60Gb +, but when I click on recommendations and want to fix, it won't fix unless connects to internet / topix which is in green.. seems that despite downloading all files it won't work without internet connection to jag servers

I run same setup, somehow it fails to connect when I want to remediate issue etc. Strange. Is your network test passes both tests?

Yeah, I run everything in VM. Don't know what's going on with mine SDD (it used to work no problem), I have installed the latest version from jlr link few days ago and followed instructions. All calibration files downloaded (again) etc. Once I connect to my 2013 jag, find the issue / problem, click recommendations, want to execute, it stops be asking for internet connection and to topix despite have both I also deployed one on Win 10 pro v165 and older versions, same issue on few VMs and different internet connections (and it all used to work). Ah well, will figure out one day XD thank you for your help!

Did you run the offline1 login immediately then offline2?

I followed this text file:

1. Run VCredist all-in-one FIRST before anything.
2. Install base program JLR v165
3. Run OFFLINE1.exe
4. Run JLR SDD, then log in using username and password below.
5. Exit SDD.
6. Run OFFLINE2.exe
7. Restart PC - run SDD and use as normal.
