Hi folks, can anyone out there tell me which way round you have to wind the rear pistons back when fitting new pads, I think its. Drivers side anti clockwise and pass side clockwise, can anyone confirm this please. Thanks Chrystal.

Yes because I did mine yesterday .. the piston rotates in the same direction of wheel,, So clockwise on offside and anti clockwise on nearside (Kerbside) but you have to apply a lot of pressure whilst winding,, Don't forget to take reservoir cap off.

Try not to allow the piston to come out of the end of its thread as it's a pig to get it back in again.

You won't do any harm if they come out of the end of their travel but it's a pig of a job to get them back in. A bit like trying to screw a bolt and nut together while wearing gloves and being blindfolded.

The piston comes out at least one new pad depth safely if you get me ? as the piston has to reach very worn pads .;)
