Hi I am looking at the 3.0 v6 XJ, it has a problem it does not blow warm air on the drivers side, will only blow cold air. if you turn the heater system off that is the only time it stops blowing cold any help cheers. Blue.

seen this a few times. Believe a backflush of the heater matrix will resolve it. Be careful not to overdo the pressure and think there is a faq somewhere too showing the use of a push fit hose connector to slip inside the heater matrix hose.
Hi it would not be a vent controle for warm air and cold air just want to make sure be fore I commit myself cheers.
Well the flush would cost you nothing, the vents are run on solenoids and are a tad more involved. I would try the flush first as its a bit of antifreeze and some time.

Thanks for your reply all the best.
Just remember where I saw the how to, No heat on drivers side also realised I may have come over a bit short. That wasn't my intent at all.

Hope you get your car sorted.
No problem thank you again cheers.
Had this with mine - had a new heater matrix fitted under warranty - problem fixed
