The X350 has a squarish back number plate easily identified against a UK one, on the X358 it is the same. Other ways to tell is if the Nav is in Japanese, mine was, and no front screen heater, mine is badged Exec but has cooled sovereign seats but no bluetooth. The car tax or whatever it is called now is cheaper the V5 shows 0 CO2 and I pay around the same as I do on the 3.0D XF.
