Advisories are just that, if you passed, you passed - if it's dangerous it'll get failed. I get the same advisory for rusty rear discs every year on my XKR.

Hi all,had the xj8 re-sprayed last week and took it for an mot today and was and still somewhat confused in respect of the advisory i got back stating brake hose slightly deteriorated on both front near and offside and the same with the rear wheels,does anyone know or able to quantify what the word "slightly" infers to in this instance,as the vehicle is 14 years old I would expect some "slight deteraition"to add it passed the mot!
