It is not bent but is it straight having sat on a bench for some time.
Therefore it IS bent, in the sense it's not the original "correct" profile?

Read my first post again. You will have to re-shape it to the original profile before you are going to be able to fit it.

I am wondering is it can be coaxed to wrap properly to the shape of the car.

If I am blowing in the wind, does anyone know where I can get replacement trim.

Had the same problem with mine, New rubbers and I set the mouldings to shape too. I used a PU sealer under them and kept it all in place with masking tape until it went off
