EBC Redstuff pads give very little dust and extra stopping power. They cost a bit more but I think they're worth it, they're meant to last longer but I only fitted them a few months ago so too soon to say. I went with Brembo discs as they were on offer but any good quality disc will be fine.

Redstuff and a good quality disc
Redstuff are supposed to last up to 6x longer than std pads which I cant disagree with having only had one set on my x type for 3 years (with turbo grooved discs so more agressive on pad wear) but still loads of pad left when traded in 3 years later, and still loads left on the Redstuff on my XJ after 3 yrs of "enthusiastic" driving
