Must have someone lined up to fire him at this stage of season. He was on a poor run, but we’ll see. I hear Steve Bruce is available…

I guess it's no surprise given the stats that have been liberally banded about but the Board had better have something very clever up their sleeve otherwise this could rebound very badly on them. The bounce-ability effect is not a reliable factor.

Where we are is not all PVs fault although I don't remember him repeating the same starting XI very often, well not in the same positions anyway, that indicates indecision which seems to have spread to the players. The Board has a responsibility to invest in the squad and most supporters believe that PV has been let down in this regard.

None of the listed out-of-work managers rock my boat, they're all unemployed for a reason and Parish has reacted too late for Dyche who would have been my pick. We could do a lot worse than pull Shaun Derry out of the Academy as an interim measure as our results and general demeanor seemed to change around the time he was removed from being head coach.

Ah well, being a Palace supporter is never easy - how many times have I said that before? One likely lad in the Holmesdale has said "I think we need Harry ... Houdini that is, not Redknapp!". Just about says it all for me too.

Best if the bunch for me at the moment would be Michael Carrick loads of experience at Man Utd under Jose & Ole, short spell as caretaker before Ralf arrived when he left. with wins in the Champions league against Villareal and then a win against Arsenal and a draw with Chelsea.
Working wonders at Boro with 15 wins and 2 draws from 22 and a total manager stat of 68%. Working well with the youngsters and respected by managers for loan deals.
Could depend on if he want's to stay and try and get Boro up, or if the Palace job is too good to turn down.

Carrick just came up as 4/1 fav
Rafa 6/1
Ralf H 7/1
Carrick would no doubt cost quite a bit in compo as he hasn’t been there too long. It depends if Palace thinks the cost of that is worth it with the risk. As working wonders at one club and his first permanent post, doesn’t always transfer to the next one.
I think he’s got a good thing going at Boro and would be mad to leave.
