Hi been lurking on this site for quiet a while, but have decided to join.

My last car was a S-Type, but I'm currently driving an X350 XJ6. I've had it about 2 years now. It's a 2003 Sport, the 3.0 petrol. It's not done that many miles, 71k and the interior is in lovely condition in ivory leather the black exterior is also in very good condition.

I really enjoy driving it and I'm a fan of the classic look of the X350. I am thinking of replacing it, but only with a newer X350 or X358. It needs to have lower miles and better condition than mine so is taking a bit of finding.

Hi there....good luck with that hunt, that'll take a bit of finding at the right price

Sending positive vibes your way

Cheers

Hi welcome to the Forum , the cars you are looking for are out there though as Jim says the Price asked for them
may be an issue . Are you going to stick with the Petrol ?
Thanks for the welcome.

Yes I plan to stick to the petrol. Seen a couple I'm interested in. There are 2 XJRs. 1 at £19k that I thinks high and 1 at £24k that just seems ridiculous! There is also a XJ8 with £15k that seems more reasonable.

I'm willing to risk losing them and wait and see if the dealers are willing to lower their prices after they've been stood on the forecourt a while before showing interest.

I'm hoping to get one for my car and about £10k. Less if possible.

No hardship to keep driving my XJ6 until one comes along. Just spent £1000 on it to have it serviced and MOTed and it's driving lovely. Did front suspension bushes this year. Rear were done last. Also radiator had a slight leak so that's been replaced. None of this was MOT failure stuff. Just keeping it in good order. I'm not going to accept silly money for it when dealers are pricing there XJs so high!
