First time poster here. I'm looking to buy a Jag and would appreciate some advice, pros and cons, etc. I really fancy XJR or Double Six - not fussed about economy, I've just missed that Jag feeling when driving. Any advice anyone?

Because v12. V8’s are relatively rare in the uk but v12’s are rarer still. The v12 versions normally come in top spec as well. Depends what your after I suppose the R will be quicker in real world but if you want something even more special double six all day.

Double Sixes carry the Daimler badge and in that generation were the very top of the XJ range, for people who wanted a top-end Jag but with even more luxury. If you have the money and the space there's really nothing quite like them.
