Hi All,

I've recently purchased a 2004/05 Model 4.2 Supercharger in Black which i'm currently enjoying - other than the brakes which are quite considerably shocking - (might be the discs as from high speed braking the peddle/steering wheel judders and the car seems to sway around a bit - haven't got to look into this too much as yet other than replacing both front tyres and checking the wishbones all look ok)

The only thing that was missing when i purchased the car was the Owners Manual - Is there a different one for the S-Type R, or is it just a generic manual? - I'd ideally like to get one to add to the car pack.

The car has a telephone button, but when i push it it says "Phone not fitted". Is it possible to get my Iphone enabled on this and how would i go about doing it? (Phone module required?)

The car has a CDC button - I'm guessing this is for the CD changer and does not do anything as there's not one in the car. If i bought one to fit in the boot with the DVD nav, do i need to wire it all the way through the car, or would it already be wired up to the boot? - does it matter if i purchase a 2002 model CD changer?

I've read somewhere that there is a TV option available on certain models - how can i tell if mine has this (I don't think it does) and if not, is it worth fitting it?

Many thanks in advance..

[1] you will need a phone module in the boot, you are already pre wired [2]cdc is also pre wired, 2002 changer will be ok,[3] as for tv option that is now no good since we went digital. some extra wires[DB2 cables] have to be obtained TO CONNECT YOUR NEW PHONE MODULE, CDC,VOICE if you want it?
Strange that there is no CD changer, someone must have removed it! Usually fitted in the LH side of the boot under a pull down flap. The wiring for the CD changer should be there, but not necessarily for the sat nav, some have, some haven't depends it on the specification of the car when ordered new. You can check for wiring by removing the LH boot panel and search around for the multi pin plugs which take the navigation connections, if there they will be taped to the body ready to plug in, worth a look.
