Hello chaps. I discovered that the Daimler (X300) I recently bought does have a working radio, it just needs the code. Sadly the only bumf I got with the car was a replacement service book and an MOT certificate and nothing else. :(

I've had a look round t'internet and it looks like you can pay some money to have the code retrieved from a database (One wonders who maintains these databases?). I was wondering though if anyone knew any free ways of getting the code back?

Lots of people on here have pressed FF AMEM and PTY together to override the code entry. A dealer will provide the code if you tell them your VIN, though they may charge for the information - shop around to find one that doesn't. ;)
