Rear bushes, can they be replaced?
Hi all,
Well i had the Jag up in the air to check the suspension today and this is what i found-
O/S/R - Lower wishbone bush (the one which bolts to hud) knocking!
Some wear in lower shock bush.
Lower ball joint on anti roll bar link knocking.
Shock leaking.
N/S/R- lower shock bush knocking
Shock leaking
Fronts - all fine! well the shocks do bounce a bit.
So i need 2 rear shock with bushes, anti roll bar link O/S/R, lower wishbone to hud bush O/S/R and 2 front shocks.
My question is can the bush be changed in the wishbone, as i understand only 2 out of the 3 bushes can?

Yes i have seen it but what i still don't know the answer! Theres 3 bushes in the wishbone and you can change 2 of these but which 2?Is the answer not in the Sticky - Definitive wishbone thread - above?
I checked with my local independent garage and only the bottom two bushes can be changed.

Theres a top wishbone which has 2 bushes and a ball joint and a lower wishbone which has 3 bushes 2 of which can be changed, but which 2?
