On startup now for the last few weeks I've been getting a continuous beep emanating from the rear of the car somewhere. This din eventually stops after a while, but not before causing intense irritation! I understand from this forum that this noise likely is a symptom of a problem with the rear parking sensor(s). (Please do correct me if I'm wrong though!) I'm not minded to fix the problem just yet, partly because I don't normally rely on these sensors, but is there any way I can just stop this beep from happening in the meantime, even if it entails disabling the sensors somehow? Thanks.

Try unplugging the module in the spare wheel well.
