Hi guys, my XK has seats like this but not with the diamond stitching. I would love to upgrade the front seats to this standard. Is it possible to remove the covers from the frames to make this happen? Presumably the seats have to be removed if it is possible. Any ideas who could do the work, and if its a difficult task to remove?

Sure it’s possible, Arty, though it may be tricky around the holes at the top. Interesting upgrade though.

I changed the seat base on my old XKR because the original had a rip in it. Yes you have to take the seat out, it's not a hard job, just be methodical and take your time. Those holes could be tricky as Jim says but it looks like a plastic trim bit in the hole. I would imagine once you work out how to get that trim out all will become clear on removing the cover
